NCC Enrollment Drive

A one-day camp of NCC was organised today at school campus for the enrollment of new cadets in NCC. On this occasion, Commanding Officer Karnail Singh of 11 Punjab Battalion , NCC , Amritsar, also visited the school premises. The principal mam warmly welcomed and honoured CO sir by presenting bouquet of flowers. He and other army officers took a special class of students to encourage them to join NCC and highlighted the benefits and importance of NCC in life and career. The students showed keen interest to take part in this activity. They also participated enthusiastically in the physical fitness test and realized the importance of staying healthy in life.

Workshop for Mathematics Teachers by Dr. Jaswinder Singh

Ashok Vatika Public School organized a very engaging and rewarding 'workshop for Mathematics Teachers. The resource person for this workshop was Dr. Jaswinder Singh, who is quite well known for popularizing science and Mathematics among students and teachers through various ingenious and novel ways. Yellow Day celebration

Yellow Day celebration was a full fun day for the Nursery students. The colour yellow which represents happiness , warmth and sun shine was celebrated in a play way letting the students experience yellow colour thoroughly. They had a nature walk and identified yellow colour in natural things ,a display of yellow coloured things ,fruits and vegetables was organized in the classroom and each student got the opportunity to touch and observe them thoroughly. A lemonade drink was prepared and served to all . Children were taught about the importance of the colour. A colouring activity was also done where students coloured sunflower picture in yellow.
