World Earth Day






 “Let’s not pass the legacy of scorched earth and impoverished landscapes to our future generations.”

The earth day was observed in Ashok Vatika Public School. The students enacted a role play to illustrate the significance and exigency of a clean and pure environment in today’s backdrop and setting. The students prepared beautiful posters with meaningful slogans to evoke the worth of a healthy atmosphere. Also the Vatikans were urged to plant one sapling in order to make a meagre contribution towards this global issue. We all took a pledge to desist our destructive and obnoxious activities towards plant earth and making collaborate efforts not to spoil our habitat any further.

Workshop for Mathematics Teachers by Dr. Jaswinder Singh

Ashok Vatika Public School organized a very engaging and rewarding 'workshop for Mathematics Teachers. The resource person for this workshop was Dr. Jaswinder Singh, who is quite well known for popularizing science and Mathematics among students and teachers through various ingenious and novel ways. He is the recipient of awards such as “Shiksha Ratan”, National Award by Honourable President of India, Multi-Gyan Peeth Purskaar and many more. Dr. Jaswinder Singh gave an insight on the basic concepts of Mathematics in a very creative and brilliant manner. Yellow Day celebration

  Yellow Day celebration was a full fun day for the Nursery students. The colour yellow which represents happiness , warmth and sun shine was celebrated in a play way letting the students experience yellow colour thoroughly. They had a nature walk and identified yellow colour in natural things ,a display of yellow coloured things ,fruits and vegetables was organized in the classroom and each student got the opportunity to touch and  observe them thoroughly. A lemonade drink was prepared and served to all . Children were taught about the importance of the colour. A colouring activity was also done where students coloured sunflower  picture in yellow.
