The birth anniversary of great Indian poet, Rabindranath Tagore, was celebrated to remember him and his contributions to the society as a poet, patriot, writer and philosopher. While paying respectful tributes and remembering him today, the students of class ninth organized a special assembly to share the thoughts and ideas of Rabindranath Tagore with the rest of the students. They presented his slogans on placards. We faced Harkrishan Public school, Ajnala in the finals and won by 10 wickets. Labour day was celebrated today in the school campus to express the gratitude towards the workers and labourers whose contribution to the society can't be disparaged. . The students of eighth class took part in the assembly to create awareness and to highlight the importance of labourers in our daily life. The students were apprised of their work and continuous efforts to maintain the cleanliness and in providing fully sanitized and hygienic atmosphere in the school premises. While celebrating this occasion and to add more fun to their life, some games using straw and musical chairs were organised and the winners were honoured with prizes by the principal mam.
