The birth anniversary of great Indian poet, Rabindranath Tagore, was celebrated to remember him and his contributions to the society as a poet, patriot, writer and philosopher. While paying respectful tributes and remembering him today, the students of class ninth organized a special assembly to share the thoughts and ideas of Rabindranath Tagore with the rest of the students. They presented his slogans on placards. The students delivered speeches on the life of first noble laureate poet of our country and also recited his famous poems.

Yellow Day celebration

  Yellow Day celebration was a full fun day for the Nursery students. The colour yellow which represents happiness , warmth and sun shine was celebrated in a play way letting the students experience yellow colour thoroughly. They had a nature walk and identified yellow colour in natural things ,a display of yellow coloured things ,fruits and vegetables was organized in the classroom and each student got the opportunity to touch and  observe them thoroughly. A lemonade drink was prepared and served to all . Children were taught about the importance of the colour. A colouring activity was also done where students coloured sunflower  picture in yellow.
