Dussehra celebrations in school campus

Ashok Vatika Public School celebrated Dussehra with great zest and zeal. Our promising students enacted a thought provoking and riveting play set out in the contemporary scenario to bring out the significant meaning of the festival . The pupils also recited verses and poems to embellish the event . The Principal Mrs. Anchal Mahajan imparted the message of eradicating vices from our lives in the form of lust, greed and anger and to adopt the ideology of a virtuous and righteous life.

The resource person for this workshop was Dr. Jaswinder Singh, who is quite well known for popularizing science and Mathematics among students and teachers through various ingenious and novel ways. Yellow Day celebration

Yellow Day celebration was a full fun day for the Nursery students. The colour yellow which represents happiness , warmth and sun shine was celebrated in a play way letting the students experience yellow colour thoroughly. They had a nature walk and identified yellow colour in natural things ,a display of yellow coloured things ,fruits and vegetables was organized in the classroom and each student got the opportunity to touch and observe them thoroughly. A lemonade drink was prepared and served to all . Children were taught about the importance of the colour. A colouring activity was also done where students coloured sunflower picture in yellow.
