Happy Gandhi Jayanti

The school celebrated Gandhi Jayanti with great patriotic fervor. The students were briefed about the ideology of the legend. They were imparted knowledge regarding the strategy adopted by him to achieve the goal of independence. Not only his contribution towards the nation' s freedom was delineated but also his ideals of establishing an ideal society by walking on the pathway of non-violence, truth and compassion were portrayed by the students staging a play named 'Main Gandhi Hoon', that was spectacular enough to grab everyone's attention.The Principal Mrs. Anchal Mahajan appreciated the efforts of pupils and conveyed the significance of the day by motivating the students to follow the virtues cherished by the 'Father of the Nation'.

The resource person for this workshop was Dr. Jaswinder Singh, who is quite well known for popularizing science and Mathematics among students and teachers through various ingenious and novel ways. Yellow Day celebration

Yellow Day celebration was a full fun day for the Nursery students. The colour yellow which represents happiness , warmth and sun shine was celebrated in a play way letting the students experience yellow colour thoroughly. They had a nature walk and identified yellow colour in natural things ,a display of yellow coloured things ,fruits and vegetables was organized in the classroom and each student got the opportunity to touch and observe them thoroughly. A lemonade drink was prepared and served to all . Children were taught about the importance of the colour. A colouring activity was also done where students coloured sunflower picture in yellow.
