Celebrations of Parkash Utsav of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji

Ashok Vatika Public School celebrated Parkash Utsav of Guru Nanak Dev Ji with magnificent religious fervour in its campus. The parents were also invited on the occasion.The ambiance of the Institution reverberated with divinity and spirituality with the chanting of the auspicious preachings of the sacred scriptures of 'Sukhmani Sahib' and 'Japuji Sahib'. Afterwards the holy langar was served to all the devotees to seek blessings as Prasada.

Ashok Vatika Public School organized a very engaging and rewarding 'workshop for Mathematics Teachers. The resource person for this workshop was Dr. Jaswinder Singh, who is quite well known for popularizing science and Mathematics among students and teachers through various ingenious and novel ways. He is the recipient of awards such as “Shiksha Ratan”, National Award by Honourable President of India, Multi-Gyan Peeth Purskaar and many more. Dr. Jaswinder Singh gave an insight on the basic concepts of Mathematics in a very creative and brilliant manner. Yellow Day celebration

Yellow Day celebration was a full fun day for the Nursery students. The colour yellow which represents happiness , warmth and sun shine was celebrated in a play way letting the students experience yellow colour thoroughly. They had a nature walk and identified yellow colour in natural things ,a display of yellow coloured things ,fruits and vegetables was organized in the classroom and each student got the opportunity to touch and observe them thoroughly. A lemonade drink was prepared and served to all . Children were taught about the importance of the colour. A colouring activity was also done where students coloured sunflower picture in yellow.
