Fit India School Week campaign 2022

The school observed "Fit India school week", a flagship programme initiated under the aegis of CBSE to acquaint and aware the pupils about the merits of implementing fitness goals from 2nd December to 8th December.The school conducted various activities to follow the project in spirit.The pupils of grade 4 to 6 were delineated about the benefits of different asanas of Yoga. They were taught to practise them immaculately . Also a poster making activity was conducted where in the students vented out the essence of the theme , quite, in an expressive manner. In the special assembly administered by the school, the pupils were encouraged to adopt a healthy lifestyle of living by inculcating positive habits and following a strict and consistent daily regime consisting imperative fitness targets.

Workshop for Mathematics Teachers by Dr. Jaswinder Singh

Ashok Vatika Public School organized a very engaging and rewarding 'workshop for Mathematics Teachers. The resource person for this workshop was Dr. Jaswinder Singh, who is quite well known for popularizing science and Mathematics among students and teachers through various ingenious and novel ways. Yellow Day celebration

Yellow Day celebration was a full fun day for the Nursery students. The colour yellow which represents happiness , warmth and sun shine was celebrated in a play way letting the students experience yellow colour thoroughly. They had a nature walk and identified yellow colour in natural things ,a display of yellow coloured things ,fruits and vegetables was organized in the classroom and each student got the opportunity to touch and observe them thoroughly. A lemonade drink was prepared and served to all . Children were taught about the importance of the colour. A colouring activity was also done where students coloured sunflower picture in yellow.
