Kids carnival cum exhibition

Ashok Vatika Public School celebrated Kids Carnival on December 24,2022 to invigorate the spirit of Christmas. The event was celebrated sprightly on large scale with the inclusion of majestic exhibition, fete and superb performances by our students. The exhibition  provided glimpses of the multicoloured traditions,  important landmarks and famous artworks of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir,  states of Andhra Pradesh,Karnataka and Punjab in a commendable manner.The students had also prepared different innovative models related to Mathematics, Science and Social Science which were indeed eye catching and riveting. 
 There was a perfect arrangement for different  recreational and amusement activities in the school campus like rides , games and eatery stalls. The winners of the Raffle draw were also announced. Overall, this gala event was quite spectacular to captivate everybody's attention.
       The Principal Mrs. Anchal Mahajan and the Chairman Mr. Ashish Mahajan concluded the event by extending felicitations to all for 'Christmas' and 'New Year'.⚘️

Workshop for Mathematics Teachers by Dr. Jaswinder Singh

Ashok Vatika Public School organized a very engaging and rewarding 'workshop for Mathematics Teachers. The resource person for this workshop was Dr. Jaswinder Singh, who is quite well known for popularizing science and Mathematics among students and teachers through various ingenious and novel ways. He is the recipient of awards such as “Shiksha Ratan”, National Award by Honourable President of India, Multi-Gyan Peeth Purskaar and many more. Dr. Jaswinder Singh gave an insight on the basic concepts of Mathematics in a very creative and brilliant manner. He demonstrated and talked about various important concepts in a very efficient and gripping manner. The workshop was quite interactive with complete involvement of teachers. The eminent personality gave many revolutionary and zestful ideas to thwart away the phobias and fears of students associated with the subject . Yellow Day celebration

Yellow Day celebration was a full fun day for the Nursery students. The colour yellow which represents happiness , warmth and sun shine was celebrated in a play way letting the students experience yellow colour thoroughly. They had a nature walk and identified yellow colour in natural things ,a display of yellow coloured things ,fruits and vegetables was organized in the classroom and each student got the opportunity to touch and observe them thoroughly. A lemonade drink was prepared and served to all . Children were taught about the importance of the colour. A colouring activity was also done where students coloured sunflower picture in yellow.
