74th Republic Day celebration

Ashok Vatika Public School celebrated the auspicious occasion of 74th Republic Day enthusiastically in its campus. A special morning assembly was administered where the teachers highlighted the background of the day and interpreted the various apt reasons for the fabrication of Indian Constitution laying ideals for a Sovereign Socialist Secular Democratic and Republic Nation , as enumerated in the Preamble of the document. The students presented a ramp walk adding charm to the celebrations by depicting the multicoloured cultural traits of different states of India in a captivating manner and augmenting the salient feature of 'Unity in Diversity'. The Principal Mrs.Anchal Mahajan, the Chairman Mr.Ashish Mahajan and the Vice Principal Mr.Vipul Malhotra along with the staff members extended reverence and obeisance to the National Flag by unfurling it. The Principal Ma'am imparted the message of following the path of patriotism and devotion towards our country in order to elevate its progress and stature in the world .The programme was concluded with the singing of National Anthem and the whole atmosphere reverberated with the slogan of "Jai Hind".

Yellow Day celebration

Yellow Day celebration was a full fun day for the Nursery students. The colour yellow which represents happiness , warmth and sun shine was celebrated in a play way letting the students experience yellow colour thoroughly. They had a nature walk and identified yellow colour in natural things ,a display of yellow coloured things ,fruits and vegetables was organized in the classroom and each student got the opportunity to touch and observe them thoroughly. A lemonade drink was prepared and served to all . Children were taught about the importance of the colour. A colouring activity was also done where students coloured sunflower picture in yellow.
