A teacher training workshop was conducted in the school by an eminent and distinguished personality Mr. Vikramjit singh Rooprai , an educator, historian and author. The worthy resource person delved into various paradigms of teaching and learning. He discussed the significance and scope of experiential learning in the present era and suggested varied tactics and games to induce elements of interest and curiosity in the pupils regarding the subject. Quite brilliantly he responded to the queries and the dilemmas that the teachers came up with to gulf the void between average and excellent teaching and learning.

Ashok Vatika Public School organized a very engaging and rewarding 'workshop for Mathematics Teachers. The resource person for this workshop was Dr. Jaswinder Singh, who is quite well known for popularizing science and Mathematics among students and teachers through various ingenious and novel ways. He is the recipient of awards such as “Shiksha Ratan”, National Award by Honourable President of India, Multi-Gyan Peeth Purskaar and many more. Yellow Day celebration

Yellow Day celebration was a full fun day for the Nursery students. The colour yellow which represents happiness , warmth and sun shine was celebrated in a play way letting the students experience yellow colour thoroughly. They had a nature walk and identified yellow colour in natural things ,a display of yellow coloured things ,fruits and vegetables was organized in the classroom and each student got the opportunity to touch and observe them thoroughly. A lemonade drink was prepared and served to all . Children were taught about the importance of the colour. A colouring activity was also done where students coloured sunflower picture in yellow. The students enjoyed fully and got elaborated knowledge about the colour Yellow. #yellowday #sunnyday #colour #colourful
