Ashok Vatika Public School celebrated the festival of Baisakhi with great festive fervor. The students of grade -10 set forth spectacular performances in the assembly to embellish the day. They were decked up in beautiful traditional apparels and accessories. They enchanted the spectators by delineating the background and significance of this harvest festival in a mesmerizing manner. Various stalls as of bangles, sweets and toys were put up by the pupils to bestow lively ambience to this special festivity. The girls presented gidda to spice up the jubilation. Mr.Gabru and Ms. Mutiyar were selected from the primary wing based on a fancy dress competition.To enhance the knowledge of the students about the day,the classes from primary wing were taken to the fields to experience the joy of the harvest season.
