World Heritage Day

World Heritage Day, also known as the International Day for Monuments and Sites, is an annual observance held on April 18th, to raise awareness about the importance of cultural heritage and to celebrate the diversity of our shared human history. To promote awareness about the importance of preserving cultural heritage, such as historic buildings, monuments, and archaeological sites Ashok Vatika organised an educational trip to Saria Amanat Khan at Taran Taran.It was an effort to make our Vaticans aware of our monuments and sites, help in their preservation and understand the history.#wordheritage #richheritage #heritage #culture #happyworldheritageday #2023 #avps

Workshop for Mathematics Teachers by Dr. Jaswinder Singh

Ashok Vatika Public School organized a very engaging and rewarding 'workshop for Mathematics Teachers. The resource person for this workshop was Dr. Jaswinder Singh, who is quite well known for popularizing science and Mathematics among students and teachers through various ingenious and novel ways. He is the recipient of awards such as “Shiksha Ratan”, National Award by Honourable President of India, Multi-Gyan Peeth Purskaar and many more. Dr. Jaswinder Singh gave an insight on the basic concepts of Mathematics in a very creative and brilliant manner. He demonstrated and talked about various important concepts in a very efficient and gripping manner. The workshop was quite interactive with complete involvement of teachers. Yellow Day celebration

Yellow Day celebration was a full fun day for the Nursery students. The colour yellow which represents happiness , warmth and sun shine was celebrated in a play way letting the students experience yellow colour thoroughly. They had a nature walk and identified yellow colour in natural things ,a display of yellow coloured things ,fruits and vegetables was organized in the classroom and each student got the opportunity to touch and observe them thoroughly. A lemonade drink was prepared and served to all . Children were taught about the importance of the colour. A colouring activity was also done where students coloured sunflower picture in yellow.
