Children's Sports Day(Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav)

Ashok Vatika Public School celebrated Children's Sports Festival to mark the spirit of discipline and exuberance under the aegis of 'Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav' organised by the Ministry of Women and Child Development, Govt. Of India. The students participated in different games with extreme alacrity and prove their mettle in different competitions. The Principal Anchal Mahajan encouraged them to follow healthy lifestyle including exercising a good regime of sports activities to keep themselves robust and invigorating.

Ashok Vatika Public School organized a very engaging and rewarding 'workshop for Mathematics Teachers. The resource person for this workshop was Dr. Jaswinder Singh, who is quite well known for popularizing science and Mathematics among students and teachers through various ingenious and novel ways. He is the recipient of awards such as “Shiksha Ratan”, National Award by Honourable President of India, Multi-Gyan Peeth Purskaar and many more. Yellow Day celebration

Yellow Day celebration was a full fun day for the Nursery students. The colour yellow which represents happiness , warmth and sun shine was celebrated in a play way letting the students experience yellow colour thoroughly. They had a nature walk and identified yellow colour in natural things ,a display of yellow coloured things ,fruits and vegetables was organized in the classroom and each student got the opportunity to touch and observe them thoroughly. A lemonade drink was prepared and served to all . Children were taught about the importance of the colour. A colouring activity was also done where students coloured sunflower picture in yellow.
