'Investiture Ceremony' for the year 2023-24

Ashok Vatika Public school hosted the 'Investiture Ceremony' for the year 2023-24. All the teachers and the students gathered on the the ground to witness the ceremony. The marching band comprising members of the council , led by Head girl and Head boy, infused the atmosphere with gaiety and enthusiasm.The Principal Mrs.Anchal Mahajan and Vice-Principal Mr. Vipul Malhotra along with other teachers honoured the Council Members with their designated badges and sachets. Loveleen kaur of grade twelve was honoured with the sachet of 'Head girl' and Harshit Abhi was honoured with the sachet of 'Head boy'. Livjot Singh and Shubreet kaur were declared as the Sports Captains. Donning the mantle of accountability the elected members of the Councils- Head Boy, Head Girl, Sports Captains and Prefects of the four houses took an oath, read out by one of the teachers to commit themselves to the welfare of the school. The programme concluded with the playing of National Anthem. It was a proud moment for all to see the children being invested in great responsibilities while embarking on a new journey as leaders.

Ashok Vatika Public School organized a very engaging and rewarding 'workshop for Mathematics Teachers. The resource person for this workshop was Dr. Jaswinder Singh, who is quite well known for popularizing science and Mathematics among students and teachers through various ingenious and novel ways. Yellow Day celebration

Yellow Day celebration was a full fun day for the Nursery students. The colour yellow which represents happiness , warmth and sun shine was celebrated in a play way letting the students experience yellow colour thoroughly. They had a nature walk and identified yellow colour in natural things ,a display of yellow coloured things ,fruits and vegetables was organized in the classroom and each student got the opportunity to touch and observe them thoroughly. A lemonade drink was prepared and served to all . Children were taught about the importance of the colour. A colouring activity was also done where students coloured sunflower picture in yellow.
