Martyrdom day of Shri Guru Arjan Dev ji



The martyrdom day of Shri Guru Arjan  Dev ji was commemorated in Ashok Vatika Public School under the able guidance of principal Mrs. Anchal Mahajan. The students sung hymns of Guru ji on this occasion. The principal mam also motivated students to walk on the right path shown by Guru ji.

Workshop for Mathematics Teachers by Dr. Jaswinder Singh

The resource person for this workshop was Dr. Jaswinder Singh, who is quite well known for popularizing science and Mathematics among students and teachers through various ingenious and novel ways. Yellow Day celebration

  Yellow Day celebration was a full fun day for the Nursery students. The colour yellow which represents happiness , warmth and sun shine was celebrated in a play way letting the students experience yellow colour thoroughly. They had a nature walk and identified yellow colour in natural things ,a display of yellow coloured things ,fruits and vegetables was organized in the classroom and each student got the opportunity to touch and  observe them thoroughly. A lemonade drink was prepared and served to all . Children were taught about the importance of the colour. A colouring activity was also done where students coloured sunflower  picture in yellow.
