Visit to Gurudwara Sahib by Pre-wing students

Our school believes that it is very important for children to understand about different religions and cultures. Pre-wing students were recently taken to Gurudwara to accustom them to start praying at an early age, seek the blessings of the Almighty and aquaint them with the significance of such holy places. The tiny tots were very excited about this new experience. They followed the procedure and accordingly covered their heads, washed their hands and feet before entering the Gurudwara. They paid due respect to holy book 'Shri Guru Granth Sahib Ji' and relished 'Kada Prashad'.

Workshop for Mathematics Teachers by Dr. Jaswinder Singh

Yellow Day celebration

  Yellow Day celebration was a full fun day for the Nursery students. The colour yellow which represents happiness , warmth and sun shine was celebrated in a play way letting the students experience yellow colour thoroughly. They had a nature walk and identified yellow colour in natural things ,a display of yellow coloured things ,fruits and vegetables was organized in the classroom and each student got the opportunity to touch and  observe them thoroughly. A lemonade drink was prepared and served to all . Children were taught about the importance of the colour. A colouring activity was also done where students coloured sunflower  picture in yellow.
