Celebration of Teachers' Day

Teachers' day was celebrated in the premises of Ashok Vatika Public School. On this occasion, the Principal Mrs. Anchal Mahajan and the Chairman Mr. Ashish Mahajan welcomed and honored DCP ( Law and Order) Parminder Singh Bandal as the chief guest. They honoured the nominated teachers with the best teacher award. Among the awarded teachers were Ritu jaitley (Social science ) Narinder Kaur (Art and craft) and Sheetal Dutta ( English). The students performed dance and organised games for the teachers to celebrate the day.A special lunch was also arranged for the staff members to mark this special day.

The resource person for this workshop was Dr. Jaswinder Singh, who is quite well known for popularizing science and Mathematics among students and teachers through various ingenious and novel ways. Thumb Printing Activity

Prints with fingers tips and thumb are fun for kids. It is a wonderful sensory experience for them. This messy play stimulates their creativity and imagination and helps them in strengthening finger and hand muscles. Children dipped their fingers in green colour and were asked to make beautiful prints in motify of grapes.
