Ashok Vatika Public School celebrated Gandhi Jayanti with great alacrity and patriotic fervour. The inspirational biography of the legend was portrayed by the students by staging an intriguing and thought-provoking play. His contribution towards the nation's independence and advocacy of the ideals of non-violence, truth and compassion for making this world a better place to live were illustrated with an engaging and spellbinding approach. The students sang beautiful melodies to celebrate the essence of the day. The Principal Mrs. Anchal Mahajan appreciated the efforts of the students and emphasized the dire need to follow the virtues ,as cherished by Gandhi ji, in the contemporary world.

Yellow Day celebration

Yellow Day celebration was a full fun day for the Nursery students. The colour yellow which represents happiness , warmth and sun shine was celebrated in a play way letting the students experience yellow colour thoroughly. They had a nature walk and identified yellow colour in natural things ,a display of yellow coloured things ,fruits and vegetables was organized in the classroom and each student got the opportunity to touch and observe them thoroughly. A lemonade drink was prepared and served to all . Children were taught about the importance of the colour. A colouring activity was also done where students coloured sunflower picture in yellow.
