Ashok Vatika Public School observed Vigilance Awareness Week with ITBP staff and officers.

Under the able guidance of principal, Mrs. Anchal Mahajan, Ashok Vatika Public School observed Vigilance Awareness Week with ITBP staff and officers. They organized a seminar to make students aware about anti- corruption movement. The 2023 Vigilance Awareness Week is being observed from 30th October to 5th November 2023 with the theme “ Say No to Corruption, Commit to the Nation”. They informed the students that the main purpose of celebrating Vigilance Awareness Week is to involve the public in the fight against corruption. The students were also apprised about the contributions of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and the importance of National Unity Day which is celebrated on 31st October to pay homage to the indomitable spirit of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and his unparalleled contributions to India’s unity and integrity. On this occasion,, a special ‘Run for Unity’ was also organized for the students to promote this message in the society. The students also delivered a speech on the life of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and his valuable contribution in the integration of India.

Towards the conclusion of this seminar, the principal ma’am also encouraged the students to contribute to the society by not giving or taking any form of bribe in their life and insisted on to pursue their deeds in an honest way. The students also took an oath to show their firmness towards the set ideals and to foster the message of unity, integrity and security of the nation.

Yellow Day celebration

Yellow Day celebration was a full fun day for the Nursery students. The colour yellow which represents happiness , warmth and sun shine was celebrated in a play way letting the students experience yellow colour thoroughly. They had a nature walk and identified yellow colour in natural things ,a display of yellow coloured things ,fruits and vegetables was organized in the classroom and each student got the opportunity to touch and observe them thoroughly. A lemonade drink was prepared and served to all . Children were taught about the importance of the colour. A colouring activity was also done where students coloured sunflower picture in yellow.
