Children’s day was celebrated in the premises of Ashok Vatika Public School with great fervor and frenzy. The children were told about the history and importance of 14th November that marks the birth anniversary of our first president Jawaharlal Nehru who was also popular as ‘Chacha Nehru’ for his love for the children.Making this day memorable, the teachers, under the able guidance of the principal, Mrs. Anchal Mahajan, presented a role play in the form of ‘Nukad Natak’. Through this thought provoking performance, the faculty members conveyed remarkable message of respecting the elders and fulfilling the duties towards the society. These efforts were highly appreciated by the students with loud cheers. The principal ma’am also congratulated the students on this occasion and motivated them to become good human beings in life, who can contribute in the future development of our country.

Yellow Day celebration

Yellow Day celebration was a full fun day for the Nursery students. The colour yellow which represents happiness , warmth and sun shine was celebrated in a play way letting the students experience yellow colour thoroughly. They had a nature walk and identified yellow colour in natural things ,a display of yellow coloured things ,fruits and vegetables was organized in the classroom and each student got the opportunity to touch and observe them thoroughly. A lemonade drink was prepared and served to all . Children were taught about the importance of the colour. A colouring activity was also done where students coloured sunflower picture in yellow.
