Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony at Ashok Vatika Public School

The starting point of all achievement is desire. If one has the desire to succeed, one surely will. Keeping this in mind and to boost the morale of the students, Ashok Vatika Public School held Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony in the school premises. It was the time to applaud and reward the students for their sincere efforts during the previous academic sessions. The students who proved their mettle in sports activities under various competitions were also honoured for their brilliance. The ceremony commenced by invoking God's blessings.The awards, trophies and certificates were conferred upon the well deserving Vatikans by the honourable Commanding Officer of ITBP Mr.Romesh Bhatia , Principal Mrs.Anchal Mahajan, Chairman Mr.Ashish Mahajan and the other members of the management. It was indeed a proud moment not only for the recipients but also for their parents who had been invited to partake in the glory of their children's success . The Principal Mrs.Anchal Mahajan motivated the winners to go ahead to achieve their heart's desire. She went on to remind them to continue to uphold the values that are such an integral part of the institution.She appreciated the efforts put in by the students and the faculty for their overall performances and wished for them to come through with flying colours in future too.

Workshop for Mathematics Teachers by Dr. Jaswinder Singh

Ashok Vatika Public School organized a very engaging and rewarding 'workshop for Mathematics Teachers. The resource person for this workshop was Dr. Jaswinder Singh, who is quite well known for popularizing science and Mathematics among students and teachers through various ingenious and novel ways. He is the recipient of awards such as “Shiksha Ratan”, National Award by Honourable President of India, Multi-Gyan Peeth Purskaar and many more. Dr. Jaswinder Singh gave an insight on the basic concepts of Mathematics in a very creative and brilliant manner. He demonstrated and talked about various important concepts  in a very efficient and gripping manner. The workshop was quite interactive with complete involvement of teachers. The eminent personality gave many  revolutionary and zestful ideas to thwart away the phobias and fears of students associated with the subject . Yellow Day celebration

  Yellow Day celebration was a full fun day for the Nursery students. The colour yellow which represents happiness , warmth and sun shine was celebrated in a play way letting the students experience yellow colour thoroughly. They had a nature walk and identified yellow colour in natural things ,a display of yellow coloured things ,fruits and vegetables was organized in the classroom and each student got the opportunity to touch and  observe them thoroughly. A lemonade drink was prepared and served to all . Children were taught about the importance of the colour. A colouring activity was also done where students coloured sunflower  picture in yellow.
