Ashok Vatika Public School celebrated the Constitution Day in its premises to commemorate the adoption of the constitution of India. Remembering this day, the students of class 9th, Kashvi and Saumya, presented speeches in the school assembly. There were different activities organized to mark this day. The students were told about the making of the constitution and its importance. They were also persuaded to participate in an online quiz by the government of India. A Poster making competition was also organized for the students. They drew several posters highlighting the main features of our constitution. At the end, the students also took an oath of being abided by the constitution and to follow the rule of law written in it. The principal, Mrs. Anchal Mahajan, told the students about the importance of law for a country and the need of discipline in the life of the citizens of a civilized nation.

Yellow Day celebration

Yellow Day celebration was a full fun day for the Nursery students. The colour yellow which represents happiness , warmth and sun shine was celebrated in a play way letting the students experience yellow colour thoroughly. They had a nature walk and identified yellow colour in natural things ,a display of yellow coloured things ,fruits and vegetables was organized in the classroom and each student got the opportunity to touch and observe them thoroughly. A lemonade drink was prepared and served to all . Children were taught about the importance of the colour. A colouring activity was also done where students coloured sunflower picture in yellow.
