Ashok Vatika Public School celebrated "Fit India school week", a flagship programme initiated under the aegis of CBSE to acquaint and aware the pupils about the merits of implementing fitness goals . The school conducted various activities to follow the project in spirit like poster making, fitness assessment through Fit India Mobile App and fitness pledge by teachers and students to ceremonialize the initiative. Everyone participated in it with great enthusiasm and exhilaration.The entire staff along with students was delienated about the significance of stress buster activities of yoga and meditation, in the contemporary world. They were guided about the benefits of different asanas of Yoga and the manner to practise them immaculately . The Principal Mrs.Anchal Mahajan motivated everyone to incorporate the rationale of physical and mental fitness into the daily regime by inculcating positive habits and following a strict and consistent daily routine consisting of imperative fitness targets.

Yellow Day celebration

Yellow Day celebration was a full fun day for the Nursery students. The colour yellow which represents happiness , warmth and sun shine was celebrated in a play way letting the students experience yellow colour thoroughly. They had a nature walk and identified yellow colour in natural things ,a display of yellow coloured things ,fruits and vegetables was organized in the classroom and each student got the opportunity to touch and observe them thoroughly. A lemonade drink was prepared and served to all . Children were taught about the importance of the colour. A colouring activity was also done where students coloured sunflower picture in yellow.
