"The commemoration of Veer Bal Diwas was held in the premises of Ashok Vatika Public School"

Under the able guidance of the principal, Mrs Anchal Mahajan, the commemoration of Veer Bal Diwas was held in the premises of Ashok Vatika Public School. A special assembly was held to pay revered homage to the supreme sacrifice of younger Sahibzadas of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji. They sacrificed their lives fighting for religion and country. On this occasion, the students were informed about the pious life and the great sacrifice of Sahibzadas. The students commemorated their contribution to the religion and the country by singing religious hymns with much devotion and reverence. The students also took part in an online live address of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Veer Bal Diwas. They were also shown the movie of ‘Chaar Sahibzadas’.The principal ma’am also motivated the young children to connect themselves with their faith and instil in them the virtues of resilience, courage and love.

Punjab Day was celebrated in the school with elation and jubilation. The students presented colourful and captivating folk dance performances to add glamour to the event. The backdrop of this historic day was explored and analysed through poetry and diction.
