Ashok Vatika Public School witnessed one more proud achievement when our promising student of +2 grade Damanpreet Kaur got honored by Sahodaya School Complex. On the occasion of children's day celebration at Cambridge International School, the students from different schools were awarded with the Gem of Sahodaya award in the field of academics and co- curricular activities. Damanpreet was awarded with this award for her sincerity and consistent hard work. She received the award from the honourable chief guest, Mr. Ajay Gupta, M.L.A., Amritsar Central. He praised the award-winning students for their success and persuaded them through his speech about the great deeds of four Sahibzadas. The winners were on the seventh sky after receiving their awards. The achievement brought moments of happiness among the faculty members and the students as well as the parents of the students. Praising her efforts and success, the principal, Mrs. Anchal Mahajan, also congratulated her and wished her all the best for her future. She motivated the other students also to do sincere efforts towards the achievement of their goals.

Yellow Day celebration

Yellow Day celebration was a full fun day for the Nursery students. The colour yellow which represents happiness , warmth and sun shine was celebrated in a play way letting the students experience yellow colour thoroughly. They had a nature walk and identified yellow colour in natural things ,a display of yellow coloured things ,fruits and vegetables was organized in the classroom and each student got the opportunity to touch and observe them thoroughly. A lemonade drink was prepared and served to all . Children were taught about the importance of the colour. A colouring activity was also done where students coloured sunflower picture in yellow.
