Bhajan -Sandhya in the holy premises of Model Town Temple

With the supreme grace of the Almighty, Ashok Vatika Public School came up with its annual programme of Bhajan - Sandhya in the holy premises of Model Town Temple to seek the kind blessings of the deity. Our music choir along with teachers, students and members of the management paid obeisance and expressed devotion by singing melodious bhajans in the glory of the deity and presenting beautiful performances to sparkle the event.To mention a few, the performances celebrating the inauguration of the temple of Shri Ramji at Ayodhya were highly appreciated and the acts signifying the resplendence of krishna-bhakti and Hanuman chalisa were really spell binding and enthralling. The entire sangat was immersed in the ocean of spirituality. The Principal Mrs.Anchal Mahajan and the Chairman Mr.Ashish Mahajan prayed for the bright future of the students. The holy langar was offered to the devotees as prasad invoking the blessings of the God.

Workshop for Mathematics Teachers by Dr. Jaswinder Singh

Ashok Vatika Public School organized a very engaging and rewarding 'workshop for Mathematics Teachers. The resource person for this workshop was Dr. Jaswinder Singh, who is quite well known for popularizing science and Mathematics among students and teachers through various ingenious and novel ways. He is the recipient of awards such as “Shiksha Ratan”, National Award by Honourable President of India, Multi-Gyan Peeth Purskaar and many more. Dr. Jaswinder Singh gave an insight on the basic concepts of Mathematics in a very creative and brilliant manner. He demonstrated and talked about various important concepts in a very efficient and gripping manner. The workshop was quite interactive with complete involvement of teachers. The eminent personality gave many revolutionary and zestful ideas to thwart away the phobias and fears of students associated with the subject . Yellow Day celebration

Yellow Day celebration was a full fun day for the Nursery students. The colour yellow which represents happiness , warmth and sun shine was celebrated in a play way letting the students experience yellow colour thoroughly. They had a nature walk and identified yellow colour in natural things ,a display of yellow coloured things ,fruits and vegetables was organized in the classroom and each student got the opportunity to touch and observe them thoroughly. A lemonade drink was prepared and served to all . Children were taught about the importance of the colour. A colouring activity was also done where students coloured sunflower picture in yellow.
