Pihu Mahajan, has achieved the first position in SOF exam of lnternational English Olympiad

It is a matter of great pride that a student of grade 1, Pihu Mahajan, has achieved the first position in SOF exam of lnternational English Olympiad that was held in September- November 2023. She has scored 244th rank at the international level, 206th rank at the district level, 130th rank at the zonal level and first rank in the school. Displaying her top performance, she brought fame to school and her parents. Her success has also encouraged the other students of the school. The principal, Mrs. Anchal Mahajan ,congratulated and honoured her for her success and motivated the other students also to achieve more heights in their life. She also appreciated the efforts and hard work of the staff members for guiding the students so well.

Workshop for Mathematics Teachers by Dr. Jaswinder Singh

Ashok Vatika Public School organized a very engaging and rewarding 'workshop for Mathematics Teachers. The resource person for this workshop was Dr. Jaswinder Singh, who is quite well known for popularizing science and Mathematics among students and teachers through various ingenious and novel ways. He is the recipient of awards such as “Shiksha Ratan”, National Award by Honourable President of India, Multi-Gyan Peeth Purskaar and many more. Dr. Jaswinder Singh gave an insight on the basic concepts of Mathematics in a very creative and brilliant manner. Yellow Day celebration

Yellow Day celebration was a full fun day for the Nursery students. The colour yellow which represents happiness , warmth and sun shine was celebrated in a play way letting the students experience yellow colour thoroughly. They had a nature walk and identified yellow colour in natural things ,a display of yellow coloured things ,fruits and vegetables was organized in the classroom and each student got the opportunity to touch and observe them thoroughly. A lemonade drink was prepared and served to all . Children were taught about the importance of the colour. A colouring activity was also done where students coloured sunflower picture in yellow.
