The Earth day was celebrated today in the campus of Ashok Vatika Public School.

The Earth day was celebrated today in the campus of Ashok Vatika Public School. To mark this day, the students of grade 7 held an assembly dedicated to promote the awareness regarding saving our environment and our planet from the harmful use of plastics. A student briefed about the celebration of Earth Day And its significance for the living organisms. They presented a thought provoking play to highlight the chaos human beings have created through pollution and the necessity to reduce the plastic usage. The students also chanted a beautiful  group song on the planet earth.A seminar was also organized by Hariawal Punjab movement to aware the students about preserving our environment. The members of this movement motivated the young students to take numerous steps like to save water, environment and finally to save the planet by planting more trees, by saving electricity, by conserving water and by reducing the use of plastic in daily life. On this occasion, the principal, Mrs. Anchal Mahajan, motivated children to participate enthusiastically in ‘Save the Life’ movement and insisted to initiate their efforts from the individual level. She also presented them the example of the school by highlighting the steps taken to save the environment.
