A Workshop about School Excellence Program.

Under the able guidance of the principal, Mrs. Anchal Mahajan, Ashok Vatika Public School organised a workshop for the teachers as a part of the teachers training program. Dr.A Senthil Kumaran was the main speaker who apprised the teachers about the ‘School Excellence Program’ and talked about different strategies with the school cross functional team. He talked about the different things that can better implement NEP 2020 for the upliftment of education and the school. Red Day celebration

Jump into Red Day: Move, Play, and Stay Healthy” ❤️ It allows children to identify the red colour and identify things in their surroundings which are in red colour.  The students were asked to look around in the classroom and spot the objects which are red . During the red themed classes ,the teacher  kept an observation table having objects of red colour such as , red  toys, red flowers and students wore red colour clothes . Activity on Big & Small

“Discovering delight in every size : big or small, find it all”       It allows  children to compare the biggest and smallest objects around them. This type of activity is essential in the development of the sense of logic and intelligence of children in preschool. An educational excursion to ITBP camp.

An educational excursion to ITBP camp. An educational excursion was organised for students of grade 9 and 10. The students visited ‘Fateh 52’ a battalion of ITBP in Amritsar and experienced the practical way of learning by visiting the camp of the troops. They were given the knowledge of the functioning of various weapons. The students were quite curious to get the knowledge beyond their class curriculum. Under the able guidance of principal, Mrs. Anchal Mahajan, Ashok Vatika Public School and Commander officer, Mr. Romesh Bhatia, ITBP, students got the opportunity to know about the different army weapons like rifles, pistols and other weapons and their parts and how they are operated. The staff members and students were warmly welcomed by the unit and were also offered refreshment. Ashok Vatika Public School organizes an educational visit to Verka milk plant. The students  of grade 8 were taken to visit  to Verka Milk Plant . The visit proved to be very informative, knowledgeable and worthwhile. The students  got to know about the operations of the milk plant. The visit revealed  enlightening information to them about the production of milk and related  dairy products. They were informed about milk processing techniques, and packaging techniques. Besides this, they were also given knowledge about different dairy products. They were taken to different chambers and departments of the dairy to understand all about the working of milk plant. Such trips always adds value to their life long learning skills and highlights the importance of practical learning.  

Students of Ashok Vatika Public School won second position in Under -15 Tug of war competition and won trophy for it.

The school is extremely proud at the success of its students as they outperform in various sports competitions and won different events that were recently held at Pioneer School. They won second position in Under -15 Tug of war competition and won trophy for it. Our student Yuvraj, grade 10, won gold medal in 100m race and silver medal in Long Jump competition. Making their parents and the school fraternity proud of their achievements, not only the boys ,but girls also participated and won prizes in these competitions. Our student , Kashvi, grade 10, won bronze medal in 100m race. Their performance will definitely motivate other students also. On this occasion, the principal, Mrs. Anchal Mahajan, congratulated the students, their parents and the school teachers. The students came out with flying colours as the outstanding academic results of grade 10 were announced.

 

Finally, as the results of CBSE grade 12 were announced, the students came out with flying colours as they successfully achieved their amazing ranks.

 

Excellent Result of Grade 10 (Session 2023-2024)

The students came out with flying colours as the outstanding academic results of grade 10  were announced. They made their parents and teachers proud of their achievements as they outperform in their results. Our student Manmeet Kaur got first position with 95.4% marks, Yakshita got second position with 92.8% marks and Samar got third position with 86% marks. The school is extremely proud at the achievements of the students. The students expressed their gratitude towards their teachers and the school authorities by celebrating their success at the beats of drum. The principal, Mrs. Anchal Mahajan, and the vice – principal, Mr. Vipul Malhotra, greeted the students and congratulated them for their impressive  results. They wished the students all the best for their future life as well.

 Ashok Vatika Public School organised an educational excursion for students of grade 7. The motive of this visit was to offer students the opportunity of experiential learning. They were taken to a FM station to understand the concept of radio channels.  They visited 94.3 My FM and interacted with RJ Akshita. She told them the purpose of running FM radio channels and how these channels work. She also introduced about her role as RJ (Radio Jockey). The curious students asked several questions about the channel. Mother's Day was celebrated in the premises of Ashok Vatika Public School

"When you are looking at your mother, you are looking at the purest love you will ever know.” —Charley Benetto To pay their respect and homage to their lovely mother’s, students celebrated Mother’s day in the premises of Ashok Vatika Public School. As mother’s day is celebrated to honour mothers and motherly figures, the students of grade 2 presented their love and honour for their mothers through a dance performance. On this occasion, several other activities were also organised for kindergarten students like ‘tear and pasting, scribbling, burst the balloons, takeaways and live dance performance’. The students of class 1 to 8 also highlighted their love through making colourful decorative cards for their mothers. Above all, mother is the epitome of selfless love, and to show gratitude to the mothers, students recited numerous poems dedicated to boundless love of their mothers and expressed their opinions through speeches.
