To show a humble reverence towards the class four employees of the school, Labour day was observed in the premises of Ashok Vatika Public School. The students of grade 8 held a special assembly to celebrate 1st May. It was marked to highlight the hard work and the selfless service of labourers. A student briefed about the importance of this day and the significant role of labourers in our life. A play was also enacted by the students to highlight the struggle and the life conditions of labourers. A thoughtful choreography was also presented by them. On this occasion, the principal, Mrs. Anchal Mahajan, also addressed the class 4 members and expressed her gratitude towards their services. She also presented them beautiful gifts to make this day a special one for them.

Yellow Day celebration

Yellow Day celebration was a full fun day for the Nursery students. The colour yellow which represents happiness , warmth and sun shine was celebrated in a play way letting the students experience yellow colour thoroughly. They had a nature walk and identified yellow colour in natural things ,a display of yellow coloured things ,fruits and vegetables was organized in the classroom and each student got the opportunity to touch and observe them thoroughly. A lemonade drink was prepared and served to all . Children were taught about the importance of the colour. A colouring activity was also done where students coloured sunflower picture in yellow.
