Ashok Vatika Public School celebrated environment day in its campus. This day is celebrated on 5 June every year and reminds us about its importance. To mark this day, the faculty members of the school planted number of plants for preserving our environment and for giving the message to put efforts in controlling global warming. The principal, Mrs. Anchal Mahajan, highlighted the importance of growing plants and considered it the most important day. She emphasized the need of planting more native trees around us for restoring the health of our planet.

Yellow Day celebration

Yellow Day celebration was a full fun day for the Nursery students. The colour yellow which represents happiness , warmth and sun shine was celebrated in a play way letting the students experience yellow colour thoroughly. They had a nature walk and identified yellow colour in natural things ,a display of yellow coloured things ,fruits and vegetables was organized in the classroom and each student got the opportunity to touch and observe them thoroughly. A lemonade drink was prepared and served to all . Children were taught about the importance of the colour. A colouring activity was also done where students coloured sunflower picture in yellow.
