The players of Ashok Vatika Public School brought another moment of proud to the school with their incredible performance in the tug of war competitions. The competitions of zonal level were held at Guru Nanak Stadium. The students participated in three categories of tug of war competition under -14, under-17 and under-19. They defeated the teams of DAV Senior Secondary School, Hathi Gate, Government Senior Secondary School Rambagh, Govt. Sen. Sec. School Islamabad, and many other school teams .Our teams of under 14 girls and boys won first position, under 17 of girls and boys won first position and under 19 of girls won first position and boys got third position.The elated students were welcomed warmly in the school and were appreciated for their hard work and their performance. Yellow Day celebration

Yellow Day celebration was a full fun day for the Nursery students. The colour yellow which represents happiness , warmth and sun shine was celebrated in a play way letting the students experience yellow colour thoroughly. They had a nature walk and identified yellow colour in natural things ,a display of yellow coloured things ,fruits and vegetables was organized in the classroom and each student got the opportunity to touch and observe them thoroughly. A lemonade drink was prepared and served to all . Children were taught about the importance of the colour. A colouring activity was also done where students coloured sunflower picture in yellow.
