Under the able guidance of principal, Mrs. Anchal Mahajan, and Col. Birendra Kumar, commanding officer of 11 Punjab NCC Battalion, the students of Ashok Vatika Public School attended a 10 ten day NCC camp. The camp was organized under 11 Punjab NCC Battalion that was held at ITI college, Near Ram Tirth temple in Amritsar. The students of grade 9- Deepjot kaur , Aarav Malhotra and Guramrit Singh took part in the camp and performed number of activities in this 10 day training camp. They did parade, physical exercises, yoga, running and attended lectures about the description of different rifles and on topics of general importance. The students were also taught about the importance of discipline. The whole camp was aimed to make them disciplined and to teach them the things beyond the classroom environment. They learnt and experienced positive changes in their life as the training helped them to be punctual, disciplined, and focused towards learning and completing their tasks on time.
