The chief speaker on the occasion was Col. Birendra Kumar, Commander 11 Punjab NCC Battalion, Amritsar. He enlightened the students about Indian Army and the armed forces. He also talked about himself and revealed the disciplinary aspect of the life of a soldier. He motivated the young learners about doing self- analysis to understand (SWOT) their strength, weakness, opportunity and threat, present on their way to achieve the desired goals. Moreover, he encouraged them to be within the positive atmosphere by avoiding negativity and to use mobile phones in an appropriate and limited way. He also apprised the students about the benefits of NCC in their life and the role camps in making students more responsible towards the society. Yellow Day celebration

Yellow Day celebration was a full fun day for the Nursery students. The colour yellow which represents happiness , warmth and sun shine was celebrated in a play way letting the students experience yellow colour thoroughly. They had a nature walk and identified yellow colour in natural things ,a display of yellow coloured things ,fruits and vegetables was organized in the classroom and each student got the opportunity to touch and observe them thoroughly. A lemonade drink was prepared and served to all . Children were taught about the importance of the colour. A colouring activity was also done where students coloured sunflower picture in yellow.
