Celebration of 78th Independence Day

On the the eve of 78th independence day, the students of Ashok Vatika Public School paid a revered homage to our nation. The students of grade 5 held a special assembly to celebrate this day. They delivered a speech on the independence day, recited patriotic songs and poems and also displayed a vibrant dance performance. They also presented speeches on the various achievements of India as a country and the progress that we have been achieving. A fancy dress activity of pre wing kids was also organized in which tiny tots assumed different roles from the history and displayed an attractive show.

On this occasion, the principal, Mrs. Anchal Mahajan, welcomed the chief guest S.Sukhminder Singh, an active member of BJP who has been a councilor (three times) from Amritsar North. The chairman, Mr. Ashish Mahajan, the chief guest S.Sukhminder Singh and Mrs. Anchal Mahajan with the faculty members hoisted the tricolour in the school ground and celebrated the independence day with the students. Thumb Printing Activity

Prints with fingers tips and thumb are fun for kids. It is a wonderful sensory experience for them. This messy play stimulates their creativity and imagination and helps them in strengthening finger and hand muscles. Children dipped their fingers in green colour and were asked to make beautiful prints in motify of grapes.
