Celebrations of Shri Krishan Janmastami.

On the auspicious occasion of Shri Krishan Janmashtami, the students of grade 3 held a special assembly in the campus of Ashok Vatika Public School. The students chanted melodious bhajans of Lord Krishan, performed a dazzling dance performance depicting Krishan ji ‘ s life and also enacted an act dedicated to his life. The junior students caught an attention of each eye towards their awesome dances in the charming attires of Radha Krishan. The students also took part in painting the pictures of Lord Krishan. They also highlighted the teachings of Lord. A special activity of ‘ Mataki Decoration’ was also organized for pre wing students in which students enthusiastically participated and presented their creativity.The principal, Mrs. Anchal Mahajan , insisted the students to walk on the path shown by Lord Krishan. The resource person for this workshop was Dr. Jaswinder Singh, who is quite well known for popularizing science and Mathematics among students and teachers through various ingenious and novel ways. Yellow Day celebration

Yellow Day celebration was a full fun day for the Nursery students. The colour yellow which represents happiness , warmth and sun shine was celebrated in a play way letting the students experience yellow colour thoroughly. They had a nature walk and identified yellow colour in natural things ,a display of yellow coloured things ,fruits and vegetables was organized in the classroom and each student got the opportunity to touch and observe them thoroughly. A lemonade drink was prepared and served to all . Children were taught about the importance of the colour. A colouring activity was also done where students coloured sunflower picture in yellow.
