It is a matter of great pride for Ashok Vatika Public School that 𝗩𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝗷𝗮𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗶 from grade– IV brought laurels to her school by winning a 𝗚𝗼𝗹𝗱 𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗮𝗹 𝗶𝗻 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁 𝗞𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 held on 14th July at Amritsar District, won Gold medal in Punjab State Karate Championship held on 2nd to 4th August 22, 2024 at Mohali and won the bronze medal in the All India Karate Championship tournament held at Panchkula, Haryana from August 16-18 for the age group 8 to 9 years. Workshop for Mathematics Teachers by Dr. Jaswinder Singh

Ashok Vatika Public School organized a very engaging and rewarding 'workshop for Mathematics Teachers. The resource person for this workshop was Dr. Jaswinder Singh, who is quite well known for popularizing science and Mathematics among students and teachers through various ingenious and novel ways. He is the recipient of awards such as “Shiksha Ratan”, National Award by Honourable President of India, Multi-Gyan Peeth Purskaar and many more. Dr. Jaswinder Singh gave an insight on the basic concepts of Mathematics in a very creative and brilliant manner. Yellow Day celebration

Yellow Day celebration was a full fun day for the Nursery students. The colour yellow which represents happiness , warmth and sun shine was celebrated in a play way letting the students experience yellow colour thoroughly. They had a nature walk and identified yellow colour in natural things ,a display of yellow coloured things ,fruits and vegetables was organized in the classroom and each student got the opportunity to touch and observe them thoroughly. A lemonade drink was prepared and served to all . Children were taught about the importance of the colour. A colouring activity was also done where students coloured sunflower picture in yellow.
