Teej Celebrations at Ashok Vatika Public School.

The festival of Teej was celebrated with great alacrity and enjoyment in the premises of Ashok Vatika Public School. The students of grade 10 held a special assembly dedicated to the festival of Teej. They presented a beautiful and energetic dance performance on the traditional Punjabi songs. They were told about the significance of this festival in Punjabi culture. The students also displayed the  culture of Punjab and decorated the swings with flowers to make this day memorable. The students came in bright and beautiful Punjabi attires to celebrate the day. They also enjoyed sweet dishes like kheer etc. among themselves. The tiny tots stole the show with their mesmerizing traditional dresses and danced a lot on the beats of dhol.
