The NCC cadets from Ashok Vatika Public School attended a one day firing camp of NCC training at Shri Guru Teg Bahadur School, Amritsar. The camp was organised under the guidance of CO Col. Birendra Kumar, 11 Punjab NCC Battalion, Amritsar. Our 20 students went for the training of firing with a rifle and experienced a unique learning beyond the classroom environment. They were quite enthusiastic to undergo this training and enjoyed the learning process. Yellow Day celebration

Yellow Day celebration was a full fun day for the Nursery students. The colour yellow which represents happiness , warmth and sun shine was celebrated in a play way letting the students experience yellow colour thoroughly. They had a nature walk and identified yellow colour in natural things ,a display of yellow coloured things ,fruits and vegetables was organized in the classroom and each student got the opportunity to touch and observe them thoroughly. A lemonade drink was prepared and served to all . Children were taught about the importance of the colour. A colouring activity was also done where students coloured sunflower picture in yellow.
