The students of Ashok Vatika Public School had an educational excursion as they visited Pushpa Gujral Science City, Kapurthala.

Under the able guidance of the Principal, Mrs. Anchal Mahajan, the students of Ashok Vatika Public School had an educational excursion as they visited Pushpa Gujral Science City, Kapurthala. The trip provided them an important experiential learning environment. The students from grade 4 to grade 8 visited Science City with a great excitement and hope to learn. The students witnessed the laser show, dinosaurs show where they learnt about the history of dinosaurs on the Earth and visited dinosaurs park, birds gallery, life through ages, mathematics gallery, fun through science gallery, 3 D theatre, and also learned about evolution of human life. They also got lots of knowledge related to Chandaryaan and other lunar missions and were thrilled to see the space and aviation gallery.The science of sports gallery section delighted the students as they realized the application of science in sports and games.

Thumb Printing Activity

Prints with fingers tips and thumb are fun for kids. It is a wonderful sensory experience for them. This messy play stimulates their creativity and imagination and helps them in strengthening finger and hand muscles. Children dipped their fingers in green colour and were asked to make beautiful prints in motify of grapes.
