Ashok Vatika Public School observed the Prakash Utsav of Shri Guru Ramdas Ji today with much devotion and reverence. The students of grade 8 presented a speech highlighting the life of Guru Ji. They also chanted melodious hymns of Guru Ji and filled the surroundings with serenity and devotion. A student also recited a poem praising the great deeds of Guru Ji. The Principal, Mrs. Anchal Mahajan, also addressed the students and directed them to follow the teachings of Guru Ramdas Ji’s life and to do the good deeds to make the society livable for all.

Ashok Vatika Public School organized a very engaging and rewarding 'workshop for Mathematics Teachers. The resource person for this workshop was Dr. Jaswinder Singh, who is quite well known for popularizing science and Mathematics among students and teachers through various ingenious and novel ways. He is the recipient of awards such as “Shiksha Ratan”, National Award by Honourable President of India, Multi-Gyan Peeth Purskaar and many more. Dr. Jaswinder Singh gave an insight on the basic concepts of Mathematics in a very creative and brilliant manner. He demonstrated and talked about various important concepts in a very efficient and gripping manner. The workshop was quite interactive with complete involvement of teachers. The eminent personality gave many revolutionary and zestful ideas to thwart away the phobias and fears of students associated with the subject . Yellow Day celebration

Yellow Day celebration was a full fun day for the Nursery students. The colour yellow which represents happiness , warmth and sun shine was celebrated in a play way letting the students experience yellow colour thoroughly. They had a nature walk and identified yellow colour in natural things ,a display of yellow coloured things ,fruits and vegetables was organized in the classroom and each student got the opportunity to touch and observe them thoroughly. A lemonade drink was prepared and served to all . Children were taught about the importance of the colour. A colouring activity was also done where students coloured sunflower picture in yellow. The students enjoyed fully and got elaborated knowledge about the colour Yellow. #yellowday #sunnyday #colour #colourful
