The festival of Dussehra was celebrated in the premises of Ashok Vatika Public School with excitement and enthusiasm. Dusshera is one of the important festivals of Indians which marks the triumph of goodness over evil. Every year it is celebrated after Navratri and twenty days ahead of Diwali. On this occasion, the victory of Lord Rama is celebrated over Ravana. To mark this day, the students of grade 11 presented a speech highlighting its significance and also enacted a play depicting the theme of this festival. The students through their play gave a beautiful message of controlling our vices and becoming good individuals in the society. The Principal, Mrs. Anchal Mahajan, delivered a speech insisting that all should be fair in their dealings and honest towards their parents and the teachers.
