Children’s day was celebrated with greater alacrity and enthusiasm in the premises of Ashok Vatika Public School. The day holds a special significance for children. The young students were gifted with chocolates and candies and they danced together on songs to make this day a special one in their memories. They also reverently paid homage to Jawaharlal Nehru on his birth anniversary and enjoyed the day with great fun and happiness. The resource person for this workshop was Dr. Jaswinder Singh, who is quite well known for popularizing science and Mathematics among students and teachers through various ingenious and novel ways. He is the recipient of awards such as “Shiksha Ratan”, National Award by Honourable President of India, Multi-Gyan Peeth Purskaar and many more. Yellow Day celebration

Yellow Day celebration was a full fun day for the Nursery students. The colour yellow which represents happiness , warmth and sun shine was celebrated in a play way letting the students experience yellow colour thoroughly. They had a nature walk and identified yellow colour in natural things ,a display of yellow coloured things ,fruits and vegetables was organized in the classroom and each student got the opportunity to touch and observe them thoroughly. A lemonade drink was prepared and served to all . Children were taught about the importance of the colour. A colouring activity was also done where students coloured sunflower picture in yellow. The students enjoyed fully and got elaborated knowledge about the colour Yellow. #yellowday #sunnyday #colour #colourful
