Mrs. Preeti from Ashok Vatika Public School honored by FAP.

Ashok Vatika Public School is delighted to announce that our one of the prominent teachers, Mrs. PreetiBala, (a mathematics teacher) has been awarded with the ‘Best Teacher Award’ by FAP. FAP is an organization that honors the teachers for their qualitative services in the field of education, sports and culture. The event was held at Chandigarh University on 16-17 Nov. and the dignitaries of the event were the Hon’ble Governor of Punjab, Shri Gulab Chand Kataria, MP and Chancellor of CU, Mr. Satnam Singh Sandhu and the Vice-chancellor, Dr. Manpreet Singh Manna, and the President of FAP, Dr. Jagjit Singh Dhuri with a popular Punjabi singer, Gurnam Bhullar.
The whole school and the principal, Mrs. AnchalMahajan, expressed her elation for this proud moment for the school and congratulated Mrs. Preeti for her excellence and the feat she has achieved. She also praised the efforts of FAP for honoring the teachers and the students and considered that such awards always motivate the winners for the perfection they seek in the field of education. The resource person for this workshop was Dr. Jaswinder Singh, who is quite well known for popularizing science and Mathematics among students and teachers through various ingenious and novel ways. Dr. Jaswinder Singh gave an insight on the basic concepts of Mathematics in a very creative and brilliant manner. Punjab Day celebrations

Punjab Day was celebrated in the school with elation and jubilation. The students presented  colourful and captivating folk dance performances to add glamour to the event. The backdrop of this historic day was explored and analysed through poetry and diction.
