The gurpurab of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji was celebrated with revered devotion and sanctity in the campus of Ashok Vatika Public School. The students and the faculty members of the school, under the able guidance of the Principal, Mrs. Anchal Mahajan, celebrated the occasion with dedication and resolve. To pay their heartfelt respects to Guru ji, the students enchanted the melodious hymns and created a pious atmosphere with the pleasant Shabad Gayan. The teachers recited ‘Japji Sahib’ followed by Ardass and prayed for the welfare of all. The students of grade +2 served the members and the students with the Parsad. The principal madam, in her address, admired the values one can learn from Guru ji’s life and teachings and urged the students to follow the path of honesty and truthfulness.
