Ashok Vatika Public School shines in Karate Championship.

We are pleased to announce that the students of Ashok Vatika Public School brought accolades to the institution by winning medals in the 8th Royal Challenges Cup. The students of grade 4 Varinee Prajapati and Aryan Sharma took part in the Karate competition of All India Traditional Shoto-kai Karate Championship that was held on 16th and 17th November at GLA University, Vrindavan (U.P.). Our student Varinee won the gold medal and Aryan won the bronze medal in the competition by defeating the number of competitors. The whole school congratulated the winners for their achievements. The school always provides such facilities to the students that are essential for their growth.The principal, Mrs. Anchal Mahajan, congratulated the players for the remarkable feat and highly appreciated the efforts of the teachers for their valuable guidance. Workshop for Mathematics Teachers by Dr. Jaswinder Singh

Ashok Vatika Public School organized a very engaging and rewarding 'workshop for Mathematics Teachers. The resource person for this workshop was Dr. Jaswinder Singh, who is quite well known for popularizing science and Mathematics among students and teachers through various ingenious and novel ways. He is the recipient of awards such as “Shiksha Ratan”, National Award by Honourable President of India, Multi-Gyan Peeth Purskaar and many more. Dr. Jaswinder Singh gave an insight on the basic concepts of Mathematics in a very creative and brilliant manner. Yellow Day celebration

  Yellow Day celebration was a full fun day for the Nursery students. The colour yellow which represents happiness , warmth and sun shine was celebrated in a play way letting the students experience yellow colour thoroughly. They had a nature walk and identified yellow colour in natural things ,a display of yellow coloured things ,fruits and vegetables was organized in the classroom and each student got the opportunity to touch and  observe them thoroughly. A lemonade drink was prepared and served to all . Children were taught about the importance of the colour. A colouring activity was also done where students coloured sunflower  picture in yellow.
