Ashok Vatika Public School is glad to share a great achievement of winning a cricket match by Ashok Vatika Cricket Academy. The players of the academy won a cricket match that was played against Kot Khalsa Academy. Our players defeated them by chasing the targeted score of 139 runs (30 overs) in just 17 overs.It in itself was a great achievement for the upcoming cricketers. Our student, Simarpreet Singh of grade 8 was awarded with ‘Man of the Match’ award for scoring 53 runs in just 32 balls. Another player, Manmeet Singh of grade 8 was also awarded with the ‘Best Bowler’ trophy for throwing six maiden overs and for scoring 35 runs in 20 balls. The players were warmly welcomed in the school campus and applauded for their achievements. They also shared their victorious experience with the other teammates.The principal, Mrs. Anchal Mahajan, and the faculty members highly praised the winners and encouraged the students to play more sports for their holistic development.
