Tiny Tots Result Day Celebration!

Ashok Vatika Public School observed Puneet Sagar and Amrit Sarovar Mission.

The NCC students of Ashok vatika Public School took part in the initiative of Puneet Sagar and Amrit Sarovar Mission of Government of India. The students took the initiative to clean the New Amritsar canal, a significant water resource under the instructions of Commanding Officer, D.K. Upadhaya, 11 Punjab NCC Battalion. This mission was organized with the encouragement of the principal, Mrs. Anchal Mahajan. The students were informed about the uses and benefits of traditional water resources by the Lieutenant Engineer Ravi Kumar. They were also told about the importance of water and the need of preserving resources of water.The twenty students cleaned the area near the river and parks around the river. They removed the weeds, overgrown grass and garbage etc. They cleaned the area close to the riverside also.They also formed a human chain to create awareness regarding preserving water for saving the precious human life.
