Students brought laurels to Ashok Vatika Public School.

Ashok Vatika Public School witnessed another proud moment as our students Kriti of 4th class and Angad Ahuja from class 10th took part in the special games. The district special games were organised by the‘Maan Dhian and Social Service Society’ of Youth Services Club, Amritsar. Our talented students won prizes in the District Special Games that were held at Prabhakar Senior Secondary School, Amritsar. Ourstudent, Kriti won silver medal in 25 m race and Angad won bronze medal in 50 m race category. The winners were warmly received by the faculty members as the victory of the players brought happiness to the school campus.The principal, Mrs. Anchal Mahajan, stressed that the school believes in the inclusive and holistic development of the students. She congratulated the young students for their achievements and motivated them for further competitions.

Ashok Vatika Public School organized a very engaging and rewarding 'workshop for Mathematics Teachers. The resource person for this workshop was Dr. Jaswinder Singh, who is quite well known for popularizing science and Mathematics among students and teachers through various ingenious and novel ways. He is the recipient of awards such as “Shiksha Ratan”, National Award by Honourable President of India, Multi-Gyan Peeth Purskaar and many more. Dr. Jaswinder Singh gave an insight on the basic concepts of Mathematics in a very creative and brilliant manner. He demonstrated and talked about various important concepts in a very efficient and gripping manner. The workshop was quite interactive with complete involvement of teachers. Punjab Day celebrations

Punjab Day was celebrated in the school with elation and jubilation. The students presented colourful and captivating folk dance performances to add glamour to the event. The backdrop of this historic day was explored and analysed through poetry and diction.
